If you tent camp in elevations about 6,000 feet, this is the sleeping bag to purchase. It is so warm that no extra covering is required. The outer layer is the most durable that I have ever seen on a sleeping bag. Caveat, this is NOT for backpackers.

Bought this for camping, love it, large enough for me to stretch out in and not have that cluster-phobic feeling I get in normal bags, its on the heavy side so I wouldn’t take it backpacking, comes with a pillow its small but works good. I’m 6′ 160 lbs and can fit another person in it, if I have to. I also use it as a blanket at home on cold nights and it gets very warm. Glad I bought this, works great, gets hot on some nights, I just unzip a little.
Pros: Large, thick, comfortable, -5′ rating, keeps you warm.
Cons: Heavy.
Four stars, good buy.

|EXTREMELY Comfortable,
This is easily one of the best, if not THE best, bag I’ve ever had. I was worried that I might get too warm…but no. In fact, we’ve been using it at home as a comforter while it’s been so cold since I unpacked it a couple of weeks ago. We can’t bring ourselves to pack it away just yet. Plus – there is plenty of room. You will love it.
